ISO9001/AS9100D Certified

Our production facility is certified to ISO9001/AS9100D, which means that we are authorized to design and manufacture thermocouples and specialty wire, cable, and assemblies for industries such as aerospace and defense. With more than 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space and an array of processing and testing equipment, we can combine multiple connector types from various manufacturers with our in-house custom-manufactured thermocouple and copper wires and cables.

What We Offer

During the early stages of your system design, our application engineering team can assist you in selecting the most suitable cable design and connector type for your needs without any bias and with a laser focus on securing the best lead time to support your program.

We offer our clients both custom wire and cable technologies and cable assemblies, making us a one-stop-shop for all their wire and cable solutions for various high-temperature, high-accuracy, high-cost-of-failure applications, including aerospace, industrial, medical, or power generation.

Our TE Wire and Cable team is ready to assist you with on-site visits to devise a solution or review finalized drawings.

Pass-through Glands

Pass-through glands, like those from TE Wire & Cable, play a vital role in facilitating signal processing between high and low-pressure environments, especially in industries like aeronautical parts manufacturing where pressure and vacuum sealing are essential. These specialized glands ensure a secure connection for critical components like tubes, probes, pipes, cables, and thermocouples, providing a reliable means of transmitting temperature data within autoclave processes. They are designed to withstand the challenging conditions of aerospace manufacturing, making them integral to maintaining precision and safety in the production of aeronautical parts. These glands serve as a crucial link between the inside and outside of autoclaves, enabling the monitoring and control of temperature-related processes while maintaining the required pressure differentials.

TE Wire uses their proprietary PEEKSense™ wire technology in the manufacturing of their pass-through glands. It is the only flexible, non-fiber, thermocouple product in the market that can withstand high temperatures of up to 900°F. The glands provide complete electrical insulation, ensuring thermocouple circuits remain free of shorts and secondary junction.

Compared to alternatives like fiberglass or polyimide tape, our pass-through glands have a lifespan that is up to four times longer. They also require less preventive maintenance, resulting in significant savings in skilled labor costs.

Our professionally designed and manufactured pass-through glands help operators and manufacturers using an autoclave to solve significant issues. They provide reliable and efficient pressure/vacuum sealing for a controlled and precise curing process that produces reliable aerospace components.
