PVC Copper Instrumentation Cable – Overall Shield
Our Copper Instrumentation Cables are designed for use in NEC Article 725 Class 1 Division 2 Hazardous Location and comply with NEC 725 for use in Class 2 and Class 2 Circuits. These cables with up to 50 pairs and continuous lengths of 5000-10,000 FT are possible depending on the AWG size of the conductor. TE Wire & Cable conductor sizes, insulations, and jackets can be mixed and matched to custom design a cable for a specific application.
PVC twisted/overall shielded instrumentation cable is ideal for systems sensitive to induced voltage and electrical noise. Conductors are insulated with color-coded PVC, then twisted with a tin/copper drain wire. Next, an aluminum polyester tape is wrapped around the wires, followed by a final layer of an overall PVC jacket. The cable is UL listed Subject 13 for Power Limited Tray Cable (PLTC) 300V applications.

Complies with NEC 725 for use in Class 2 and Class 3 Circuits
FEP Fluoropolymer Thermocouple Extension Cable - Overall Shield
FEP twisted overall shielded instrumentation cables are ideal for applications where the environment's ambient temperatures can spike over the limit of conventional PVC cables. The twisting of the conductor and the aluminum/polyester taper shield protects against crosstalk, static, and magnetic noise in instrumentation circuits. Conductors are insulated with color-coded FEP, then twisted and shielded with tin/copper drain wire. A final layer of the overall FEP jacket is applied with a nylon ripcord. The cable can be supplied in a UL-listed design CL2, CL3, PLTC, or ITC.
Applications:
- New Plant Constructions
- Utilities and Industrial Plants
- Petrochemical Plants
- Testing Rig set up
- Thermocouple Circuits
- Agricultural Industry
- FDA Approved Applications
Suitable for 300 Volt Applications
